We have used Veritas/Backup Exec for years and find the product reliable and one of the best on the market. We just purchased the latest version and have had nothing but issues just getting the product to download and extracted. Multiple sites have been used to download the zipped files and no matter whether we use the managed download or single download paths - nothing works. The files say they download successfully but have a file type of 1of2 and 2of2. The obvious thing to do is rename them to the zip extension by removing the ".1of2" and ".2of2" from the file name and the system identifies them appropriately as zipped archives. The problem is they say the files are not able to be extracted and wants us to download again and again. The downloads are the right size from the web site. What method should be used to extract them other than the windows extraction or WinZip? We have tried both.
