As i'm new to Encryption Management Server. Our company want to deploy encryption to all laptop users so we ask Symantec for evaluation Encryption Management Server and here is the note from the evaluation key:
Symantec PGP Universal Server includes Universal Server and the management of Gateway Email and Desktop clients, including Desktop Corporate and Portable.
it was installed on a ESXi 4.1 vm. I have created new consumer policy to encrypt client machine immediately after install client pack. But when the client install that generated pack they do nothing, i click the PGP icon on the client screen it tell me i could not find the server??
As we only need to encrypt entire client computers and manage these comps from this server. We do not want to do these thing for emails and take this part out of domain-linked if possible .Are there any simple solution please give me a hand.Any helps will be appreciated.
